Welcome to JamTown. I’m Jamila Glass, a filmmaker and choreographer creating cinematic journeys of movement, shaping characters, and building worlds that reflect what makes us human. I’m the Creative Director of The CallBack, a multidisciplinary creative house where storytelling has no format, creativity has no ceiling, and exploration is part of the practice.
My work spans film, television, and live performance, with choreography featured on Netflix, HBO, Hulu, BET, and with brands including PRADA, and recognized by The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Essence, Ebony, and Mashable. Over the past decade, I’ve directed, produced, and edited 21 dance films bridging movement and cinema.
